About the Course
This 2-day course is designed for Developers, Technical Operators, Solution Design Engineers, and Cloud Architects. It covers reviewing of fundamental technical operations, configuration, deployment and management skills of core Alibaba Cloud products. Advanced cloud services like Alibaba Cloud Virtual Private Cloud (VPC), Auto Scaling, Content Distribution Network (CDN) and Alibaba Cloud Security Service are also introduced through this course.
Attendees will be introduced to fundamental knowledge in these products and cloud computing. There will be intuitive online hand-on labs in class, led by experienced instructor to help attendees to obtain direct hands-on experience.

Understand the characteristics of Alibaba Cloud products (like ECS, SLB, RDS, OSS) and how they should be operated to perform certain tasks
Learn how to configure a set of ECS instances that launch behind a load balancer, with the system scaling up/down according to real world demand
Learn how to enclose resources in virtual private networks with VPC
Understand the fundamental architecting design concept by putting ECS/SLB/RDS/OSS together
Understand the characteristics of Alibaba Cloud products (VPC, Auto Scaling, CDN, Alibaba Cloud Security Service) and how they should be operated to perform certain tasks
Setup vRouter, vSwitch and configure them to establish a working VPC environment
Utilize SLB, Cloud Monitor and Auto Scaling service to manage resource consumption and dynamically add/remove instances into the resource pool
Understand Alibaba Cloud Security Service portfolio and how these services should be incorporated to better secure your online system
